Water Management System Company | Website Redesign (Webflow CMS)
.webp)
This project focused on a full website redesign for a Water Management System company operating in the New Mexico area.
As both a designer and developer, I aimed to improve not only the visual identity but also the content structure, SEO performance, and overall user experience.
The result is a modern, clean, and SEO-optimized website built on Webflow CMS, giving the client full flexibility to manage services, projects, and marketing materials with ease.
Challenges
Before the redesign, the website had several structural and strategic issues:
- All services were listed on a single page, making it difficult for search engines to rank them individually.
- The portfolio lacked organization and wasn’t linked to specific services.
- The website provided little context about service areas or team credibility, which limited user trust.
- There were no clear CTAs (Calls to Action) or conversion points to drive engagement.
- The design looked outdated, lacked breathing room, and didn’t effectively communicate the company’s value.
Process
1. Information Architecture & SEO Strategy
- Proposed a separate page for each service to improve both navigation and SEO.
- Built a CMS-driven portfolio system where each project can belong to multiple service categories.
- Added metadata-rich elements such as project timeline, location, and client name to boost search visibility.
- Highlighted service area coverage (New Mexico region) on key pages to help search engines and users understand the company’s target market.
2. Design Direction
- Preserved the brand color palette, while giving the design a modern, spacious, and story-driven layout.
- Created a homepage structure that includes:
- A hero section clearly showing service coverage.
- A highlighted portfolio item to showcase expertise.
- A clear breakdown of services with intuitive navigation.
- Multiple CTAs, alternating between guarantee messages and quick consultation offers.
3. Content Expansion
- Reworked the About page to include:
- Team member profiles and photos.
- Company certifications.
- A more personal story to build trust with prospects.
- Improved the Contact page with:
- Large, accessible links to LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Clear calls to connect and explore social channels, strengthening brand recall.
4. Development (Webflow CMS)
- Designed a scalable CMS structure that allows the client to:
- Add or update services and projects easily.
- Feature specific portfolio items or services dynamically.
- Attach downloadable data sheets and brochures for prospects.
Results
The redesign achieved both visual and strategic transformation:
✅ Improved SEO through structured content and localized targeting.
✅ Enhanced user experience with clearer navigation and modern design.
✅ Increased conversion opportunities via multiple contextual CTAs.
✅ Strengthened credibility with team presentation and certification visuals.
✅ Provided long-term flexibility for the client through Webflow CMS.
Overall, the new website delivers a user-centered, SEO-optimized, and professional digital presence — positioning the company as a trusted leader in water management solutions for the New Mexico region.
